Mrinal Krishna Chaudhury Chief Technical Officer at Green Shade Consultants, he was the former Director of Assam Energy Development Agency and has an experience of over 36 years in the field of Renewable Energy in planning, execution and monitoring of numerous renewable energy projects in the state. He specializes in Decentralized Renewable Energy sector. Projects on Remote Village Electrification covering over 40,000 households, over 15,000 Solar Street Lights as well as over 400 Roof Top Solar installations were executed throughout the state under his leadership which also included the first Floating Solar Power Plant in the north eastern region.
During his tenure at AEDA numerous projects supported by MNRE, GOI as well as the state Government were successfully implemented. Energy audits in Tea Gardens and small and medium scale industries were also executed under him. Innovative and new energy efficient technologies which included improved biomass cook stoves, small solar/battery operated vehicles, innovative solar driers are areas of his special interest.
He is associated with a number of academic institutions viz. NPTI, SECONE, DBU etc in different capacities.
Mrinal Krishna Chaudhury is graduate in the Mechanical Engineering he obtained his Master’s degree in Energy Science & Technology.
